Multiple data sources present good and bad news for retailers. Good news because all that data represents the opportunity to better understand and respond to customer needs. Bad news if you are struggling with the effects of all those data sources – including POS transactions, one for e-commerce, one for marketing, one for the call center, one for loyalty, etc. – and none of them is talking to each other fast enough if at all. Sometimes, big data feels like it’s just too big to handle.
